Hundreds of Insan Kamil High School Students Get Education on the Dangers of Drugs

BOGOR - The National Center for Mental Health (PKJN) of Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital and the Pancasan Health Center in Bogor provided education on the dangers of drug use and juvenile delinquency to more than 200 students of Insan Kamil High School, Bogor, Monday (10/14/2024).

Representing Insan Kamil High School, Edawati Lasmadita, appealed to all students to listen carefully to the material that would be presented.

"Soon we will get education on the dangers of drugs, please listen carefully, so as not to get caught up in drug use," he said.

Meanwhile, an officer of the Pancasan Health Center in Bogor, namely Fahmi Chaerudin, opened the education event. "We have met in several activities, this time the Pancasan Health Center is collaborating with Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital to convey the dangers of drugs to students in the community," said Fahmi.

Iyep Yudiana, as a Public Health Counselor at the Hospital Health Promotion Installation (PKRS) PKJN RS Marzoeki Mahdi, appeared in front of students and teachers, to lighten the atmosphere, with cheers and concentration games, so that students are more cheerful and focused on the information to be delivered, and to start the Q&A discussion, by preparing attractive prizes.

The resource person for drug education this time was Andry Roy from the Drug Addiction Recovery Installation PKJN RS Marzoeki Mahdi, who provided information about what drugs are, the types and dangers of drugs, and the bad consequences that will occur if caught up in drugs.

The excitement became even more intense, when students competed to ask various questions or answer questions from the resource person. The excitement peaked, when all students and teachers were invited to play roles to better embody the characters, about the dangers of drugs. (IY)
