Picking up 25 ODGJ from Pandeglang

PANDEGLANG - In collaboration with the Pandeglang Regency Government, the National Center for Mental Health (PKJN) of Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital organized community mental health services by examining 27 people with mental disorders (ODGJ) in Pandeglang Regency, Banten, Wednesday (11/9/2024).

The Head of the Pandeglang Health Service, Eni Yati, who represented the Pandeglang Regency Government welcomed and appreciated this activity, and hoped that this collaboration could be carried out every year.

"This mass examination and evacuation of ODGJ was attended by registered patients throughout Pandeglang, hopefully all of them will come, and hopefully this activity can be carried out every year in Pandeglang Regency," he said when officially opening the activity.

Iyep Yudiana, as the Health Promoter of PKJN Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital who represented the medical team and management, expressed his gratitude to the Pandeglang Regency Government for successfully holding this activity.

"Appreciation for Pandeglang Regency which has successfully held a mass examination and evacuation activity for Severe ODGJ throughout Pandeglang," he said.

Around 200 people consisting of officers from the Health Service, Health Centers, Sub-districts, Villages, Satpol PP, Police together with ODGJ Families and Patients from 35 sub-districts, 326 villages, and 36 health centers throughout Pandeglang gathered in the yard of the Pandeglang Health Service office to make the event a success.

There were 10 employees on duty from the PKJN Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital led by Dr. Iriawan Rembak Tinambunan, Sp.KJ as a psychiatrist accompanied by Dr. Haris Kristian Sarumaha as a general practitioner, nurse, health promoter, social worker, and administrative officer who successfully examined 27 ODGJ who came to the location of the activity and determined 25 of them to be evacuated to the PKJN Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital in order to receive treatment, medication, and rehabilitation until recovered in Bogor.
