BOGOR – In between his activities visiting the National Center for Mental Health (PKJN) of Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno tried out the Heritage Golf Field, a golf course that has existed since the Dutch colonial era owned by PKJN RS Marzoeki Mahdi, Bogor, Sunday (22/9/2024).
Sandi admitted that this was his first time playing golf at the Heritage Golf Field. He was also amazed by the golf course that has 9 holes, and said that there is potential for sports tourism in the future.
"This is really cool. The Heritage Golf Field in Bogor City has 9 holes, it's my first time. The tourism potential is super," he said.
The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy also strongly supports PKJN RS Marzoeki Mahdi with all its facilities such as the Heritage Golf Field which can be a gathering place for sports tourism, the Youth Mental Health Center, and the implementation of creative economy programs including music, painting, and wellness.
"And we have to play a lot of golf here because we didn't know there was a golf course here. This is a golf course from the Dutch era, yes, it's heritage, we have to support it, because this is part of the city of Bogor," said Sandi.
Sandiaga Uno's visit to PKJN RS Marzoeki Mahdi was aimed at attending the talk show MiCE to Meet You: Dialog Road to Festival Karya Musik Anak Komunitas 2025. This talk show activity aims to share insights and discuss several things related to the current conditions and challenges of the music community, downstream efforts and distribution processes of works, and to create opportunities for collaboration with health facilities in the future which also serves as a means for the music community to have a sustainable forum through the Festival Karya Musik Anak Komunitas event.
