BOGOR – Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital (RSMM) has further strengthened its preparedness for the upcoming hospital accreditation survey scheduled for October–November 2026. This readiness was reinforced following the completion of a Mock Accreditation Survey conducted by the Hospital Accreditation Institute for Quality and Patient Safety (LAM-KPRS) on June 8 and 10–11, 2026.

The mock survey was carried out through a combination of virtual and on-site activities, including tracer assessments across various service units at Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital. The exercise aimed to evaluate the hospital’s compliance with accreditation standards while identifying areas that require further improvement before the official accreditation survey.

The LAM-KPRS surveyor team consisted of Dr. Andry, MM, MHKes; Dr. Hermien Widjajati, SpA, M.A.R.S.; and Dr. Rokiah Kusumapradja, SKM, MHA. Throughout the simulation, the team conducted document reviews, interviews, field observations, and assessments of accreditation standards implementation across hospital departments.

Based on the survey findings, the surveyors expressed their appreciation for Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital’s commitment to developing a strong quality and patient safety system. The Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QIPS) program was recognized as being well implemented, supported by comprehensive reporting mechanisms, routine monitoring of quality indicators, patient safety incident reporting, and well-established policies and documentation.

The surveyor team also noted that the hospital’s key strengths include strong leadership commitment, a comprehensive quality management system, well-maintained supporting documentation, and established reporting and evaluation mechanisms. These elements demonstrate that the foundation of quality governance and patient safety at RSMM has been effectively established.

At the same time, the surveyors provided several recommendations for further improvement. In their overall assessment, they emphasized that with strong leadership commitment and the systems already in place, Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital is well positioned to further strengthen its culture of quality, patient safety, staff safety, and the consistent and sustainable management of healthcare facilities.

The results of the mock survey will serve as an important basis for evaluation and follow-up actions across all levels of the organization. Through continuous improvement and strengthened implementation of accreditation standards in every service unit, RSMM remains optimistic about its readiness for the upcoming accreditation survey and its ability to continue delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered healthcare services.
